Raising Money For Schools Whilst Kids Have A Great Time

We recently did our 4th event for a local primary school.

This time the event was for a end of year Xmas Party and it featured the whole school.

The way the event was structured was there would be 2 “sittings” (discos). The 1st was from 4.30 to 6 for years 1 to 3 and the 2nd was for years 4,5 & 6 from 6.30 to 8.00.

Kids at this age are great to work for as they have no pre-conceptions. They come to have a good time.

The best thing about them is they will interact with the music by singing along, making noise and dancing along to everything……as long as you play the right music.

This turned out to be yet another successful event for us and the school. One child commenting at the end of the party “Will you be hear for the Year 6 Leavers Ball ?” , a question I heard that was echo’d by a parent to the PTA chair.

The other positive side to this which all PTA members should take note is that the school raised a good amount of money from this. They had 150 kids for each disco, therefore 300 in total, charged them a small entrance fee, gave them some snacks and by working with us gave the kids a great evening out.

We look forward to the next event!!!!!
